View from the bridge at Coalport and “The Woodbridge Inn” public house on the banks of the river Severn in Shropshire, England. Picture taken today, 10th June 2022 (Author’s Collection).
I am a verbose man by nature but rather this will be a brief introduction and some colour commentary only as we traverse this pictorial stroll alongside the River Severn in the heart of England. All pictures were taken this afternoon, 10th June 2022, and in a dozen or so pictures time you will have taken a carefree meander along the river from Coalport to Jackfield and through to Ironbridge, via 4 four bridges and the most soulfully refreshing walks you can imagine. This is a companion piece to the article linked at the bottom of this introductory paragraph and when combined, provides a looping riverside walk from Coalbrookdale via Ironbridge to Coalport and back again, and a walk I’ve enjoyed hundreds of times.
Only colour commentary on the pictures from hereon in, and I sincerely hope you enjoy your digital stroll!
