I am pleased and more than a little proud to announce my sixteenth self-published book and third on the Mighty Reds of Liverpool is now available in hardback and paperback via Amazon and here’s a handy link:
All 56 games in Liverpool’s triumphant 2024–2025 season are covered on a match by match basis, all of which are compiled per calendar month of the season and every match report from each game written in real time.
Here follows a larger image of the cover of the book and the blurb on the back cover:

Liverpool fan since a pre-season friendly in the summer of 1982 sealed the deal, I can now be found in the middle of a constant existential crisis, larking around in front of the oldest iron bridge in the world, or self-publishing books of which this is my sixteenth all time and third on the Mighty Reds of Liverpool Football Club.
“Amid the outpouring of joy and the songs of triumph rolling around the fields of Anfield Road and both inside and outside of Liverpool’s storied Coliseum bathed in late April sunshine, I was OK until I saw Alisson Becker crying and then there was the joint rendition of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” in front of The Kop and like many Reds of a certain vintage I was gone, lost in a tear filled reverie that only winning the league title can induce. Memories flood the mind as easily as the tears rolling gently down the cheeks of a stubbornly difficult to understand man at times like these: Bob Paisley modestly holding the league championship trophy aloft to The Kop, Graeme Souness running screaming towards that very same famous terrace before tossing the trophy high in the sky for Ronnie Whelan to gleefully catch it behind him or Alan Hansen repeating the modest trick of Sir Bob years before him and on multiple occasions for Kenny Dalglish’s all conquering team of bloody minded winners”.
Welcome to “Champions — Arne Slot and a “miracle” first season as manager of Liverpool FC” and a match by match tapestry of an incredible season, written in real time, and when a genial, softly spoken and smiling man from Bergentheim in the Netherlands made dreamers of us all once again.
So there we have it! Another self-published book released to the wilds of the world and the even wilder and strange world inside the matrix of the internet. Should your interest be piqued and you click the link above, I’m sure you’ll find or be directed to my other 15 books, but I’m guessing that as you’re here there’s a rather large chance you’re a fan of the Mighty Reds and so, I may as well shamelessly promote my other 2 books on Liverpool and now, a rather pleasing football hat-trick:

Thanks for reading.
Peace and blessings to you all.
