Ironbridge is twice as nice in some warm October sunshine
A return to a historic toy-town in the sun.
With the UK’s schizophrenic weather bestowing upon its British subjects an unseasonably warm 72 hours with a sprinkling of welcome sunshine, I took advantage of this late Autumn bonus by visiting my spiritual home of Ironbridge not once but twice and toy-town, as ever, looked radiant in the October sunshine.
My first trip was a singular affair as I yet again perched myself on a rickety old fishing “peg” or platform on the banks of the River Severn as I recorded yet more videos for my Youtube channel in my fruitless search of fame and fortune or, more accurately, the selling of my self-published books. The second was a more casual affair with my beautiful son and a stroll along the riverside, the feeding of some hungry ducks, the purchasing of some sweets from the “Old Fashioned Sweet Shop” and the enjoyment of a bag of piping hot chips with my son in the shadow of the oldest iron bridge in the world.
Here I present to you a pictorial stroll and a twice is nice amble through beautiful Ironbridge.

Thanks for reading!
I have never been to England (my parents have, though), but picturesque little places like this would be something I would want to visit.
