Sunset over Ironbridge
“You’re rarer than a can of dandelion and burdock. And those other girls are just postmix lemonade”
Star Date: Sunday 21st July 2024
Destination: My spiritual home
Reason: I thought I’d go and catch a sunset
Reason Number 7: To read my book as the sun went down
This evening’s book: “Gonzo — The Life of Hunter S Thompson”
This evening’s tunes: “Suck it and See” by Arctic Monkeys
Favourite album song: “Piledriver Waltz” but I’ve used the single version of “Suck it and See” for my sub-title lyrics because they’ll make me smile until the end of time
Favourite all time song: “I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor” (just be yourself for 3 minutes and belt this out as loud and passionately as you can. You’ll never feel more alive)
I hope you enjoy the “pictorial stroll” that follows and loop of the River Severn from Ironbridge to nearby Coalbrookdale and back again

Thanks for reading. Because I rather enjoyed myself this evening I still have a bumper crop of unpublished different/alternative images from this evening and hence, coming soon, “Sunset over Ironbridge: Deleted Scenes”. Whilst you’re trying to contain your excitement for yet more images from a beautiful sunset in a picture book world, here’s one of my nine self-published books that can be found awaiting your pleasure on Amazon:
