It’s the “only BBC you’re ever gonna need!”

My four, self-published, literary beauties, many chapters of which are read via my first Youtube Channel, “The Blackford Book Club” **(Author’s Collection)**

Nearly a month in to my latest venture into the very opposite of what any sane person would call a “comfort zone”, my first Youtube channel is now fully stocked and with one further long term project still up my magician’s sleeve.

And now that you’ve kindly subscribed to the channel that will, given time, melt the internet into the 5th Dimension, I’ll relay a brief true story before leaving you to smile your way through a few images from beautiful Ironbridge.

For it was, on the banks of the River Severn, that this past Saturday I looked up from the video camera to see a local fisherman, bait, tackle, chair and fishing rod in hand, standing a little higher on the bank.

“I’m sorry mate” I said. “I’ll move. I know I’m not supposed to be here but you can’t beat that backdrop can you?”

Quick as a flash he smiled at me, told me I was welcome to remain on the fishing peg/platform and that he’d rather enjoyed listening to me read!

He made my day.
