Twitter Watch: Vol.3
Canadian Truckers dancing to “We Are The World”, Censorship, Unhinged Politicians. And Lenny Bruce is not afraid.
Canadian Truckers dancing to “We Are The World”, Censorship, Unhinged Politicians. And Lenny Bruce is not afraid.

According to those now legendary kids from Athens, Georgia who in 1980 formed a band they named REM, it’s the end of the world as we know it and Michael Stipe is feeling all rather fine with that particular prospect and Lenny Bruce remains unafraid. So that’s good and we’re on firm ground as we approach the third of my volumes as I watch Twitter from a safe distance and continue to question why the participants, myself included, continue to hurl words into the electrical void of The Matrix. What does it matter? Why do I bother? Who reads my tweets, Facebook or Instagram posts? Who reads this blog? Why? Who would sit there reading my words, in whatever social media platform they appear, and why?
I appreciate you, right now, for reading this. Bless you.
But I’m a questions guy and it fascinates me beyond distraction as to why we all play this absurd game within The Matrix and here are a dozen or so examples from the past 24 hours that have tickled me to tweet and sate my Twitter taste buds.
The Censorship Section

Here’s 3 examples of free speech and indeed the freedom to speak. I find the “Let’s Go Brandon” tomfoolery to be the very epitome of this battle over our most treasured possession and our inalienable right to free speech. A little internet digging will result in your realising that the typically American shout of “Let’s Go” and in this case, “Brandon”, is not about a gentleman by the name of Brandon at all, but an older gentleman who currently resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. And it’s not a flattering chant of appreciation either! But our impartial “news” media can’t report that so they absurdly covered it up to the point of ridicule and now it seems to have come full circle with faux outrage from the very media who tried to cover it up in the first place whilst the people supporting such a chant have taken it and reclaimed it. The tweet itself is accurate as documentary evidence has been uncovered as to the “experiments” approved by Dr Tony Fauci but the High Medicinal Priest can’t be criticised and the media are mainly silent on the issue. One wonders why?
Tim Dillon is a comedian who burst into my consciousness over the past 2 or 3 years and mainly via his bizarrely hilarious appearances on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Nothing is off the table with Tim and his rants can often traverse the surreal, conspiratorial and downright bizarre but his straight forward tweet chimed with me as it’s a contention I’ve long held. Criticise anyone for what they said 5/10/15 years ago but let’s have it out in the open with a thorough debate and not throwing them immediately into the memory hole. We cannot, as an advanced and evolved society, have “magic words” we can’t say. These magic words will disappear rather quickly into that magical memory hole and we’ll never see or hear from them again. It’s not the word, it’s the intent, the circumstance, the reasoning for use. We cannot have “The C Word” or “The N Word” replacing these words in our collective reality. There are laws aplenty for people who aggressively and with intent, use these words. Prosecute them. Use the laws available. The lefty idealist in me shudders at the thought of words being deemed magical and unsayable, and thus doomed to rot in a memory hole forevermore.

Right Said Fred are an English singer and song writing duo who have been pilloried and decried for their stance on free speech and their objections to the medical state unfolding all around us. Whether you agree or disagree is irrelevant but equally so is your reaction to the free speech of the poster whom they retweet here. I find the words posted by Carol utterly objectionable, rancid and scary beyond belief that someone would hold such views, but isn’t it more appropriate to see such words rather than banning or censoring the writer? Doesn’t it also throw a pertinent light on the fact that for “camps” read the deliciously Orwellian “Quarantine Hotels” and the very fact that many countries now have these? FEMA camps anyone? Remember them? There is also a huge proliferation of new prisons being built here in the UK? One again wonders why?
And then we return once again to Tim Dillon and particularly Glenn Greenwald, a journalist I greatly admire and one of the biggest proponents of free speech there is in the legacy media, a media he has now been banished from. I have similar, if more agricultural and forthright views on Joe Rogan as you’ll read below, but the same sentiment is there: he doesn’t fit into our ludicrous two party (ONE Party if we’re being honest with ourselves) consensus and he’s a curious free thinker and a comedian. Thus he’s uncontrollable, a rogue and a renegade and “The Party” can’t have that!

I couldn’t squeeze this screenshot into a combined collage without losing the top and tail of a debate I’ll now close for you on Joe Rogan. Quite simply, if they continue to pressure Spotify to ban or censor him, wait until they delve into the back catalogue of the past decade and more and a catalogue I’ve listened to roughly 80% of over the years. Then they’ll really shit their pants! That also returns us to my previous point of delving 10/15 years into someone’s writing and censoring them for their supposed indiscretions. Or are they views akin to those of the Canadian Truckers that their Prime Minister called “unacceptable”? Where is that fine line between acceptable and unacceptable? Who defines it? Who administers it?
And who writes it into law?
Our society is eating itself from within and by those who live well outside the boundaries of it. The instigators are those who champion free speech so damned hard publicly yet they ban and censor it. Not the “right kind” of speech apparently. History is for chumps and is written today, not yesterday, and all our precious yesterdays are being cast into the memory hole.
Along with our freedom of speech.
The Videos Section

Now this video is beautiful! Put simply, we have an ex CIA Operative of over a decade now working for the USA State Department. So far, so odiously predictable. Right? But it gets better. You see, Ned Price (ex CIA remember) states that Russia are planning a “false flag” attack in Ukraine that will likely stir tensions in the region for war. A false flag is an internal and deliberate act that is set up to spur a conflict and he talks of “crisis actors” and the usual morass of meaningless rhubarb. But it still gets better! Price states unequivocally that the attack is being planned and they have evidence of the dastardly deed. But when pressed on the issue by Associated Press reporter Matt Lee, he begins to crumble a little before crumbling a lot, lot more, as Matt Lee insists on clarification of the evidence and stating that without said evidence it’s simply his word that the attack is imminent. Where’s the evidence? There isn’t any! More to the point, our ex CIA friend states that the evidence is entirely his word and he points to Matt Lee and offers to send him a transcript of his words! No evidence, just a statement, which is akin to me telling you I have a dog but when pressed on what breed it is I simply reply “dog”. No muddy footprints. No hairy piles on the sofa. No lead. No treats. No dog food. Just my confirmation that I do indeed have a dog.
Two pertinent issues scream at me:
(1) How many more of these vacuous press conferences and statements do we have to see and read before we collectively inform these war mongers that we don’t believe them? And how many other times have we been led into a bloody war on the pretext of absolutely nothing more than naked aggression and a desire to worship at the foot of Mammon and the Military Industrial Complex?
(2) God Bless Matt Lee. One journalist, a real journalist, was all it took to splinter apart this fake story. Imagine five more journalists actually doing their job and asking questions rather than taking notes and CIA talking points. Imagine ten more journalists?
Twenty?
I have long admired English comedian Russell Brand and he’s currently doing his absolute utmost to dance to the tune of Youtube and not give an absolute opinion on anything (as he knows he’ll be banned) but is dancing a merry tango whilst also asking pertinent questions. Here he reels off the financial links attaching USA Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to all of the huge returns on investments she and her husband have accrued in recent years whilst the 81 year old sits on a set he brilliantly describes as “Mrs Doubtfire” and before she announces she’ll run again for the Speaker of the House position. At 81! Not covered on this video, but during the past month or so Nancy Pelosi strongly disagreed with reporters questions as to the veracity of politicians dealing stocks and trades on the stock market and that it’s a “free market”. The term “Insider Trading” has obviously passed Mrs Pelosi on the irony train and gone straight to the gravy train of money instead. This is of course yet another example of the horrific and legalised theft that happens in politics throughout the world but to which we simply shrug our collective shoulders, condemn it as unfair, and move our interest onto the next scandal.
I could ask why we participate in such a failed and corrupt system as well as questioning why this broken system is not replaced by a more equitable one, but I have to question why an 81 year old still feels the need to be in such a position and why I got the impression of some kind of “Max Headroom” video going on here and why when Nancy Pelosi said she wants to champion “Our children. Our children. Our children” I shivered, shuddered and winced so much I had to lie down in a very darkened room.
Give the video a watch if you dare!
This final video leads onto the tweet below, but what staggers me is a Canadian official stating categorically that he’ll use the full force of the law on his own officers for helping those pesky, freedom loving truckers. You know the ones, those horrid people holding hands singing “We Are The World”, waving Canadian flags and being as inclusive and friendly as can be.

The video supplied by “Five Times August” can be found on Twitter but I’ll paint a picture for you: It’s around 2 minutes in duration as a circle of people of all ages, sexes and dispositions dance slowly to “We Are The World”. No vandalism. No fires. No fighting. No aggression. Just a slowly moving circle of human beings proclaiming a need for freedom and especially freedom from medicinal mandates. What utter bastards eh?
They clearly haven’t read the pre-prepared script as what the world needs right now is a bunch of vacuous actors and actresses absolutely ruining John Lennon’s “Imagine” on a Zoom call. That’s we need. Not actions in the streets against rampant authoritarianism and loss of the inalienable rights we are all born with, freedom of movement, assembly and bodily autonomy. No. What we need is a Zoom call from hell (or Hollywood if you prefer), that’ll make us feel better as our human rights are stripped away from us all.

I have long admired The White Stripes and long lamented their splitting as a group. For a husband/wife or brother/sister depending on which story/theory you prefer, they made some serious and quite beautiful noise and I’ve adored “Seven Nation Army” for many years before it became corrupted as a grunting and repetitive dirge played at countless sporting occasions. Here, “Damien Robitaille” posts a video presumably of himself playing the piano and kick drum to the first two minutes of the song and it’s almost flawless, but very beautiful.
The Neil Oliver video will be posted and commented on below, but first we return to Tim Dillon again and although the last sentence is missed from the image I want to draw your attention to perhaps the most important aspect of this tweet and his quoting of Jen Psaki (White House Press Secretary) and her insistence that Spotify “do more” to censor and restrict Joe Rogan. Now I’m not a USA Constitutional Lawyer but “The People’s House” requesting a private company censor a fellow USA resident? Really? So we’re all ok with the merger between State and Corporate Powers? I dislike “Magic Words” as you may have gathered, but this magic word that can’t be spoken begins with a F and ends in ascism. Or how else do you wish to view this request to “do more”?.
We are living through wild times indeed.
“There’s a storm coming”.
Neil Oliver has been rather a lone voice of sanity these past two years and he is again in the above video. He laments that the virus still lingers like a bad smell and is ever present and forever “front and centre” and always there, wherever we look. A Danish study has concluded emphatically that lockdowns didn’t work, couldn’t work and have caused disastrous ongoing consequences for all of our lives and the future generations to follow. Some of us have screamed this since the beginning, but alas, our Lords and Masters have spent oodles of cash, invented out of fresh air, and we all have a mis-spent debt that we’ll be paying back, monetarily or not, for the rest of our lives. Neil’s 10 minute opening monologue to his much longer show is heavily British and European influenced as he mocks the UK Prime Minister and his Chancellor of the Exchequer and their madcap financial schemes now cast into law as well as his own Scottish Government’s brilliant idea to saw off the bottom of doors in schools to “aid ventilation”. Neil says “you couldn’t make it up” and he doesn’t, that is indeed being introduced throughout his home nation and if you haven’t heard this bonkers idea before, I’m sure your head is shaking so violently it may topple clean off your shoulders. He ends with a scathing attack on European countries steadfastly behind medical mandates, the madness of unvaccinated parents not being able to visit their loved ones in hospital in Australia and the horrendous overreach of GoFundMe and their freezing of the money and donations given to the Canadian Truckers.
What was the merger between State and Corporate Powers again? It’s a magical word beginning with “F” and if you’ve read this far you’ll be able to spell the rest of the word that no-one, anywhere, wishes to acknowledge.
Climate change. An energy crisis. War with Russia. Oh, and some Monty Python thrown in for good measure!
May your God bless you Neil Oliver.
Political Shenanigans

I’ll briefly close with the gift that keeps on giving, Nadine Dorries, the recently appointed “Secretary of State for Culture, Digital, Media and Sport”. This was Mrs Dorries second car crash interview in recent days and one wonders if and when she gets a hat-trick, will she get a sporting match ball for her trouble? The tweets above say all that needs to be said really, but she then demanded censorship of the British Comedian Jimmy Carr in a further interview that was as wince inducing as the one noted above where she was (again) incredibly unbecoming of a Government Minister. I described it in my own tweet as “snarling, obnoxious, self important and objectionable”.
And I was being kind.
Censorship and political malfeasance on both sides of the pond and two Empiric countries, those bastions of “Freedom” and “Democracy” and “Free Speech” are eating themselves from the inside out and without a care for the damage that is being foisted upon us and for many future generations to come.
Neil said you “couldn’t make it up”. Nadine Dorries has today landed in Saudi Arabia to “strengthen a shared relationship” on culture, tourism and sport. Saudi Arabia, that bastion of freedom and democracy and current attacker of Yemen with military armaments purchased from where again?
You or I don’t need to make this up as it stares us all in the face. The sellers of weapons of war, the defenders of the faith, democracy and freedom of speech. The “left” (MY LEFT!) screaming for more censorship and more draconian powers and inevitably, when they wrestle power here in the UK, more war. Peaceful truckers, and the heartbeat of every economy the world over, vilified for their “unacceptable views” by a Prime Minister still in hiding and all the while dancing to an 1980’s power ballad that was written and performed to bring solace and hope to a devastated African continent on the brink of starvation.
Left is the new Right. Up is the new Down. Right is the new Wrong.
There’s no need to make any of this up.
It’s all on Twitter.
