Your headlines for these pieces are like the show biz slang and jargon ones that "Variety" magazine in the U.S. used to have in the '20s and '30s. ("Wall Street Lays An Egg" was how they spoke of the 1929 stock market crash.)

Ha! I don't know whether you're complimenting me or telling me I'm an old duffer David! Alas, one of the umpteen reasons for my lack of success in this silly game is my inability to write a good headline. "Super-Sub" was a phrase of long ago when in football there was only one substitute and if he came on and scored/changed the game (David Fairclough was Liverpool's "Super-Sub") then he'd be honoured with the moniker. Now there are 5 subs but last night, 2 of Liverpool's combined immediately to level the score, so "Super-Subs scrap for vital point" etc. Thanks, as always, for the support and taking an interest in my writing. Forever appreciated.
